Generally peaceful, making it an ideal resident of a well-researched community aquarium. A schooling species by nature and at least 6 to 10 specimens should be purchased.
Diet shall consist of wild fish on a variety of worms, insects, crustaceans, plant material and other organic debris. Easily-fed but a balanced diet comprising regular meals of small live and frozen food such as bloodworm, Daphnia and Artemia alongside good quality dried products will bring about optimal condition and colours. Sinking food is best.
