The Red Neon Sumatra Goby, Stiphodon sp., also known as Sumatran Red Neon Goby is a small nano bottom feeder that feeds on algae which is highly attractive due to both its interesting color that changes based on the environment and its behavior pattern which makes it a highly sought after fish among hobbyists.
Due to its very small size, these gobies are best kept in nano aquariums with other peaceful species and shrimps. Males often can display aggression towards each other, hiding spaces are required for an ideal environment.
