Cavity rocks are also known as Limestone, Texas Honeycomb, and Holley stones. These attractive decorative stones have holes and cavities allowing fish to use for shelter and perfectly useful for Cichlid fish which promotes their stability and brings out their best natural behavior.
The rocks are also attractive when covered in algae, creating green surfaces on the sides facing light which becomes a great source of food for algae eating species, including Mbuna African cichlids which require algae in their diet.
These rocks are heat treated and does not affect the chemistry of the water nor should be relied on to increase pH, KH, or GH.
Note: As with any natural rock, pieces come in various shapes and slight variety in color shades. For further details, call our customer service before placing an order.
