Guppies are one of the most popular fish for their peaceful presence, an adaptable fish that is excellent for inhabiting the top and middle part of the aquarium.
A hard water fish in nature and while it may manage in soft and/or acidic conditions, long-term maintenance should be provided for guppies in moderately hard or harder water. Unfussy, though a planted tank with floating vegetation is appreciated. Strong currents should be avoided.
